Mission Statement:

Southwest Parenting Magazine is a family owned and operated company that is dedicated to uplifting, supporting and serving Atlanta parents and their families.  Our mission is to inform and empower parents so that they can continue to be positive role models and actively involved in the lives of their children. 

We will accomplish this through:

• Providing Support in the form of partnerships with non-profit organizations and for-profit companies who will asisst parents in need, and hold meetings or group sessions addressing important parenting topics.
• Resources available i.e. books, magazines and free articles about issues regading parenting.
• Providing Opportunities for parents to connect via blogging, and e-mail with other parents in the community or across the nation, who have similar concerns so they can share their experiences and support each other.
• Quarterly digital magazine that will be emailed to concerned parents.  It's also free and filled with innovative ideas about parenting and overall family matters. 
  
• Positive Imagery that will reinforce the positive aspects of the family, that is so often portrayed in a negative light by mainstream media.
